Increased feedings to 10 ml/hr of Elecare. She now weighs 8 lbs 7 oz. Nora had her second HIDA scan today. Unfortunatley the dye didn’t make it past her liver again. The doctors think it is the TPN gunking up her system.

Nora’s sweet nurse Brenda setup Nora a whole new big girl bed WITH mobile! Nora really enjoys a lot of mental stimulation and so she REALLY enjoys her mobile. The nurses have also given her some books and even brought in a TV and started her TV junky syndrome early with some Baby Einstein videos. Since we are not allowed to bring in things from home due to infection risk we really appreciate all that the NICU staff has done to give Nora special attention.

Keeping feedings on Elecare at 9 ml/hr. Nora now weighs 8 lbs 3.7 oz. Nora’s 14F G-tube was replaced with a 16F today. The next size up will be an 18F which will allow for her to get a button instead of a long tube.

Increased feedings to 9 ml/hr of Elecare. Nora seems to be tolerating the two bottle feedings a day quite well. Her TPN rate is at 14.5 ml/hr.

Increased feedings to 8 ml/hr of Elecare. Nora weighs 8 lbs 4.8 oz. Three good stools today.

Two more good formula poops today! Direct Bilirubin = 2.9, total Bilirubin = 4.3.
