Hooray for poop day! Today Nora had two healthy baby formula poops. Nora weighs 8 lbs 1.2 oz.

In true Punk style, Nora puts on her hot pink boots (a gift from Uncle Kia), spikes her hair up (not that it will go any other way) and says….

“Happy Birthday Uncle Kia!!!”

Looks like she might have some of her Uncle Kia’s punk rock spirit in her already!

Increased feedings to 7 ml/hr every 3 hours of Elecare. Starting back on trial bottle feedings today – yay!! Nora will get a 21 ml bottle (equivalent of 7 ml/3 hrs) every 12 hours. Nora weighs 8 lbs 1.9 oz.

What better way to celebrate Nora’s 4 week birthday than with a yummy bottle!

Today Nora had a HIDA scan to see if her liver and internal “plumbing” are working properly. They inserted dye into her veins and scan her throughout the day to see if the dye flows through all of the organs properly. The dye made it to her liver but did not pass through to her gallbladder and intestines. The doctors will repeat the test next week and hope to see the dye move through to her intestines the second time around. Increased feedings to 6 ml/hr of Elecare through G-tube in p.m.

Keeping Nora’s feedings at 5 ml/hr. She had white/yellow runny stool with some consistency. Nora now weighs 8 lbs .07 oz.
