A 20 calorie formula seems to agree with Nora’s system much better. She had a large poop this morning with more consistancy. Her labs showed her red blood count has been low. We are hoping it is just all the blood they have had to take for the tests. They began giving her additional iron today to try to get her red blood count up.

She slept most of the day and seems happy

Nora had 2 watery poops again today. They decreased her formula from 24 calorie to 20 calorie but kept her feeding schedule the same.

Today Nora had a upset tummy and 2 large, watery poops The doctors think it may be the 24 calorie formula causing the problem.

To get Nora on a more regular feeding schedule today she will begin eating 3 30ML bottles during the day, 4 hours apart (10am, 2pm, 6pm), and be on continuous G-tube feedings from 8pm to 8am. Her formula was increased from 22 calorie to 24 calorie and a multi-vitamin was introduced to her diet. She had a large poop. She weighs 8lbs 7.7oz
